Leisure Fitness Centre Facilities

Dan Flint Personal Training clients are able to do their Personal Training sessions for free at Chase Fitness, Church Chare, Whickham, which was previously known as Sub 2 Leisure. The gym has been open since 1996 and has seen a number of major changes. Now as a mixed fitness centre of some 400 members, the standard of the facilities and the service is excellent. At almost 4,000 sq ft the centre is a comfortable size and has a seperate studio for the many classes on offer [timetable]. The fitness centre has 22 stations of Lifefitness Cardiovascular as well as 12 resistance machines, a free weights room offering a multitude of workout options and a 4 station boxing frame.

The centre has seperate changing facilities with showers and saunas in each area as well as offering a wide range of additional services for both members and non-members [additional services].

Situated in the heart of Whickham, the centre is ideally placed for those living in Whickham and the surrounding area. Just a 1 minute walk from the front street, behind Ye Olde Lang Jacks Pub, there are a number of parking spaces outside the front door. Alternatively you can park behind the shops in Whickham, on the front street itself or down Coalway Lane to the side of the building.
